Sara is one of Asia Pacific’s most experienced advisors to both buyers and sellers alike. She has consulted to over 150 organisations, spanning 51 countries, developing hundreds of contracts representing some $18 billion in spend.  She was a National Partner at Deloitte (Australia) and Global Thought Leader on outsourcing and now performs research and teaches at universities in addition to running The Cullen Group, a training, publishing, and consulting firm.
Her in-depth knowledge is globally recognised.  She is a widely published, internationally recognised author having written 19 books and 127 best practice and research publications. She conducts reviews for the likes of Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, and the Journal of Information Technology.   Sara has been featured in publications such as the Australian Financial Review, Computerworld, Directions in Government, Information Economics Journal, Insurance Directions, MIS, MISQ Executive, New Accountant, Property Australia, Oxford Handbook, Outlook India, and Strategic Asset Management.
Sara leads corporate training programs covering sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for over 6200 participants across Asia Pacific.  She regularly lectures at universities including Melbourne, Monash, NSW, QLD, RMIT and the Australian Defence Force Academy, in addition to universities in the UK, S Korea, and Mexico.  She recently developed the University of Melbourne's online course on the subject of large organisations migrating to cloud services and infrastructure.
Sara has a PhD, a MBA, and BSc.  She is a Chartered Accountant (US), Certified Mediator, and Certified Trainer.  She is a Fellow at the University of Melbourne and a Research Associate at the London School of Economics.
Dr Cullen was recently recognised by the Global Sourcing Association (UK) as one of the world's foremost thought leaders in their A-list of trailblazers.
